Cookware & Kitchen Electrics Chemicals Disclosure

California Assembly Bill 1200 (A.B. 1200) and Colorado House Bill 22-1345 (H.B. 22-1345) mandate manufacturers to disclose the presence of specific chemicals that are intentionally added to cookware handles or any surfaces that come into contact with food or beverages. Under California's A.B. 1200, disclosure applies to chemicals listed on the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) Candidate Chemicals List. Meanwhile, Colorado's H.B. 22-1345 focuses specifically on PFAS chemicals.
